Lion Family Sketch

My first entry into DeviantART ever! Woo! Anywhos, I'm still figuring everything out in both DeviantART and my art styles, so please kindly point out any mistakes.

Yes, I am aware that the lioness's ears are wierd looking but I had trouble with drawing them so I just drew them in a style that I was more comfortable with. This is the first piece of art that I've done in this style without help from a book.

Anyways, I don't like to colour and a pencil is usually the only type of medium that I use, so most of my artwork is a sketch. I'm not if I should put this in my gallery if it's a sketch, but I wanted to show off my first submitted piece of art.

Lastly, I'm background-a-phobic, so don't expect me to draw backgrounds often.
